we hav 2 upgrade ourselves constantly bcos e world is dynamic n information gets disseminated just as easily as how we change our clothes. ppl constantly seek new methods 2 replace e old n inefficient ones. thus, edu becomes a means 2 sift out talents n engage them in an all-rounded dvlp, trainin 'em 2 become part of e elite group. it has been suggested tt all e concepts n theories tt famous ppl took yrs, or even a lifetime 2 discover/prove cant b possibly hammered in2 our heads within a few days. when i say "hammer", i wasnt referrin 2 understandin. its in ur brain simply bcos it has 2 b. bcos of time constraints, we r compelled 2 memorise, leadin 2 e risin popularity of e "art" of memorisin as yrs go by. 4 instance, SPA skill A @ our lvl. does einstein take 1 hr 2 come up with his theory? No. we, though nt bein exposed 2 as much science as he did, still hav 2 come up with a outline of expt based on e given reagents n certain criteria. how much can our brain process in 1 min? needless 2 say, our brain switches 2 e memorisin mode automatically n we start 2 throw out wateva we've memorised frm e supposedly model ans given by e sch. tis has defeated its original purpose of groomin innovative minds tt can engage themselves in independant learnin, come up with brilliant ideas n tink of effective solutions 2 problems. instead, it encourages conformity. y do i say tt nth much can b done 2 improve then? well, b4 we r able 2 tink critically, we nid 2 b equipped with relevant skills n basic knowledge. tt, nids time. if we hav chosen 2 learn @ a slow rate, when then, wld we b ready 2 accept e row of challenges awaitin us?
