woohoo!!!! i'm back lerh!!! hehe. ok. haha. thnx 2 elaine hq n hc 4 pickin me up frm e airport ytd. so touched. haha. aniwae. dono whether u all will lyk wadeva i bought 4 u all. but juz hope u all will lyk larz. haha. haiz. actually i kinda regret nt buyin more--shoes, cd, dvd, jacket... etc... haha. ok. i'll definitely buy more nxt time. ok. don wana repeat e details of e whole trip so many times. so i'll juz blog everything here. haha.
Day 1----startin frm e times after i offline... much as i yearn 2 go overseas i miss spore alot. my family n u all. aniwae in e airport, it's all waitin stuff. we juz laze around while waitin 4 check-in. well i was damn enthu bout e whole flight. cos i seldom get e chance 2 board e plane... n best of all, its SIA lor. haha. tt's y. but pathetic larz. i ended up sittin with 2 other seniors instead of my friens. so i ended up lyk a mute, openin my mouth only when necessary. tsk tsk tsk. sleep throughout. nt fun @ all. e food was ave lor. yup. tt's bout it. reached shanghai @ around 6.30am. went 2 unpack our things @ e hostel. 2 to a rm. its quite spacious n e toilet was big lor. haha. all i cld complain was tt e furniture was quite dusty n me n my frien gt quite disgusted by how e dust gt stuck 2 e soles of our socks. we unpacked n chit-chatted awhile b4 leavin 4 Jin Cai High Schl. e schl was twice or even more than twice of ours lar!!! can get lost easily so i juz tried nt 2 wander around. e lunch was prepared by 1 of e stores in e canteen. OMG!!!! i felt soooo disgusted by e food thr. its worse than those in pahang... blehz. sort of wonder whether i can survive till e end. haix. hav 2 go thru tis ordeal 4 e 1st 2 days b4 we can enjoy 4 e last 5 days when we can really shop n sightsee. hah. aniwae, e food thr has e most superb n intriguin combination larz. e fried pork slice. damn sick. thr's small pieces of bones inside. reminds me of e uncooked meat in e burger in TMS. i wana vomit larz. ok. e rest of appetite was gone. i bet e dinner n tml's meals will nt b any better. of cos i did nt finish wat seems 2 b 2 servins n juz throw 'em away. after tt we gt 2 meet our buddies. hha. they brought us round e schl. i realise tt e library bks r 90% chinese bks. but overall e trip was pretty meaninless cos i cldnt recog e routes n still hav 2 follow my friens.=( dinner was as expected. we oso went 2 attend arts lesson which was bout some kind of opera thing. how cld i ever understand..?? so i juz dozed off. then heard frm a frien tt some of e chinese students were laughin @ me larz. well i don really bother lar. so tired liao lor. plus wadeva they were sayin seems lyk a foreign lang 2 me. ok finally e highlight of e day. carrefour--last destination of e day. best liao larz. we predicted e quality of e food tml so we bought food back 2 our hostels. ok then tis's when e worst time of my life came. e rain was still on. we had 2 walk back 2 our hostel which was nt faraway. as we walked 2 e road-split, we dono which way 2 turn larz. thr were 3 options... we headed in e supposedly correct direction. its gettin darker n more ulu... n i felt super afraid larz...in spore i don mind gettin lost as i cld hail a cab or call my parents. but nw i'm stuck in a foreign place whr i don even dare 2 call a cab n hps r nt usable. damn it. so we walked back n turned 2 another direction. after few mins, we recog some familiar objects n felt slightly better. but after enterin e hostel gate, another scary thing happened. as it was super big... we dono which lift 2 take... so we walked around in e dark (thr's no lights @ all larx!!) n kept walkin 2 n fro aimlessly.... 4 e 1st time in my life, i wished 4 a guy 2 b with us lo. @ least i wld feel safer n more secure. haix. after some wat seems 2 b v.long, we finally reached e rite area. FINALLY!! haix. rest of e time was juz restin n slpin liao. nth much.
2nd day----morn breakfast rox.. cos it was nt taken in e schl. it's taken in our hostel restaurant. hmm its nt exactly heavenly but its definitely great compared 2 e other meals. but e complementary milk puts me off lor. i almost puked la considerin e medicinal weird taste.... its lyk overdue by 3 months le larz. but i can guarantee its nt e worse. i ate only a few grains of e rice 4 lunch only lor.. guess wats e dishes?? salty + oily veg, scrambled egg fried with tomato (raw) n most imptly n gruesome of all, FROG'S LEG!!!! wth lar!!! i c liao wana puke lerh. 4 of us ended sharin 1 plate which we cant finish too. so we juz throwed everythin away. damn disgustin n horrifyin...ok so we sneaked back 2 e VIP rm 2 eat wateva we bought frm e carrefour ytd... ok dinner. we've learnt 2 b smart cos we took only 1 plate again. i don understand y chicken muz b in thin slices. looks lyk e plate of brown worms.... great so i ate veg only tt day. hm e whole day was quite sian larz. we spent e morn visitin diff classes n watchin teachers teachin eng maths n chi. i do realise tt higher chi in spore is way below standard compared 2 chi in china. nv had i felt so inferior bout my chi. haix. 1 funny thing durin maths lesson. e tcher asked us a qn on induction.. then my senior said "induction" in eng. 1 china guy immediately said " wat lang is she tokin bout????" in chi lar... hah. PE lesson was badminton. my skills was lyk shit. evenin after dinner we went 2 sightsee @ e bin jiang da dao. we oso went 2 eat mac. only me n my friens. haix. dono wat's chicken wrap called in chi. e person don understand eng either. so he was irritated by me n asked me 2 point 2 him on a piece of paper. but e wrap was nt on it larz. i noe its sold thr cos i saw e thing on e shelf bhind.. haiz. i ended up eatin nuggets larz. hmm e mac ppl oso nt skillled de. their ice cream nt nice de lor. lyk anyhow how squeeze tt kind. hmm ok. tt's all
3rd day----haha. today's a super happy day lor. 2 say in a vjc way, it's fantabulous!! =) its juz shop till i drop. in e morn, after eatin some cheapo breakfast, we went 2 meet our buddies. they brought us 2 e biggest bookstore in shanghai. but e bks were pxed @ almost e same px in spore so i bought dvds instead. hehe. each was lyk S$4.40 only lar. ok. then we oso bought cds frm a streetside store. after tt we went 2 eat noodles in a noodle shop. its nice larz but it was almost 2 servings... i ate till my stomach was bloated. i guess tt juz 1 little more mouthful can make me puke liao. haha. overall e noodles was 8/10 larz. done. finally. we left e nanjing road whr things were priced so high juz lyk orchard road in spore. we went 2 xi gong street around 3pm. haiz. as we had 2 return 2 hostel by 6pm... we only manage 2 shop 4 lyk 11/2 hrs only. its was nt enuff larz!!! its was a super duper long street... thr's a few blocks with few storeys high.... guess wat e whole 11/2 hr was spent on only 1 level of 1 block of e whole street larz. can u imagin how big it is??? aniwae my buddy helped me n my friens 2 haggle... i bought clothes 4 lyk $6 a piece. i learnt tt "nvm" is a catalyst in buyin clothes @ cheap px. a simple "suan le" will make 'em agree 2 ur px immediately. hah. haiz. time was soon up. felt so unsatisfied n irritated. so after goin back 2 e hostel i felt n urge 2 shop again. so together with 3 seniors, 4 of us sneaked out 2 xiang yang street. its lyk 7sth liao n damn dangerous considerin tt 7 of us gals hav 2 split n take a cab thr. but aniwae we don wana regret so we juz proceed with it lar. thr's a time limit 2 e hostel thing. so we juz chiong e shoppin trip, goin into 1 shop after another.... things were lyk charged @ less than S$10 larz!! its almost lyk a marathon. oso i'm gettin more pro @ hagglin lor.. so happy sia. yep!! =)
aiyoh. e nxt 4 days nth much... cos everythin sort of repeat itself. we took a bus 2 suzhou n nanjing.. then we visited e places of interest. then we had meals in restaurant which were slightly better than e meals in e hostel. then in e evenin, we went shoppin lyk mad @ e night mkts... haha. $ was spent lyk siao!!! hahah. my frien experienced a thief lor... lucky she spotted him in time. hah. hmm last 2nd day went back 2 shanghai whr we bought food n stuffs. hah. last day shopped in e big qi pu lu. all e clothes. enuff 2 make u c stars. haha. regretted nt buyin more. haix. ok. yup.
glad 2 b back here. finally can slp, eat n bathe in peace. super scary thr. its lyk 1 big hotel rm 2 2 ppl. quite scary 2 me larz. lucky gt tv. so we can on it 2 hav some sounds. aha. hmm.. ok. haiz. guess it;s soon time 2 chiong my studies lerh. haix. kk... cya all... on 10th-12th. hehe =P
